Rebbe Moshe Leib of Sassov said, "A person who does not devote a single hour in the day for reflection can hardly be considered a complete person."
Unless one sets aside some time for meditation, he may receive good counsel from G-d but may be so preoccupied with other matters that he is unable to accept the good counsel for which he prays.
