What identifies a Christian with the Lord and His Church? A typical vile $in-gapore "Christian" who displays Sadistic Personality Disorder along with a whole range of other serious psychiatric disorders? Or might it be a pagan who shows true penitence for his sins?
It doesn't take a genius to figure this one out, but take the Doctrine of Election out of the equation and you'll be thrown off course.
I can see why my assertion is so offensive to many well-meaning fellow Christians. They have many loved ones and good friends who are unsaved and they believe that "nagging preaching" will save them, as Salvation is a choice that can be made by the individual.
Such beliefs provide nothing but false assurance of Salvation. As I speak, there are many "Christians" out there who think they've been saved when they're really on the highway to Hell.
False Christians have no need to hear the Gospel because they've already heard it many times over - it's people who haven't heard the Gospel that need to hear it.
The bottomline is, the choice of Salvation belongs to God - your job is only that of a messenger.
